On 23rd May 2026, Sarah and Carl celebrated their marriage at Stanford Farm, enjoying a wonderful Bank Holiday wedding weekend surrounded by family, friends, and the beautiful Shropshire countryside.
The couple exchanged their vows in the Stables, with a heartfelt ceremony conducted by Shropshire Registrars. The rustic setting provided the perfect backdrop as Sarah and Carl said "I do" and began their new chapter together.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered for a relaxed drinks reception and photographs while enjoying an acoustic performance by the talented band Jumpstart on Stanford's outdoor stage. Their live set created a fantastic atmosphere, allowing guests to soak up the celebrations and enjoy the occasion in the spring sunshine.
Food was a highlight throughout the day, with The Travelling Pig serving a delicious carvery that brought everyone together for a memorable wedding feast. As the evening celebrations got underway, The Pizza Girls arrived with freshly made pizzas, providing the perfect evening food for guests enjoying the party.
Entertainment continued throughout the day and into the evening, with Jumpstart returning to keep the celebrations flowing before DJ Jordan took over, filling the dance floor with music and ensuring the party continued well into the night.
Making the most of the Bank Holiday weekend, many guests stayed on-site and enjoyed camping at Stanford Farm. The celebrations didn't end on Saturday, with friends and family gathering again on Sunday for a relaxed and chilled day together, extending the wedding festivities and creating even more special memories.
Sarah and Carl's wedding was a wonderful example of everything a Bank Holiday wedding can offer — great food, live music, a fantastic atmosphere, and plenty of time to celebrate with loved ones.
