Aimee & Matthew's Wedding at Stanford Farm, Shropshire 23rd November 2024

A Beautiful and Memorable Celebration and our last wedding of the season.

On the 23rd of November 2024, Aimee and Matthew tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at Stanford Farm, Shropshire. As the last wedding of the season for the team, this celebration was a perfect finale to a year of love and joy, even with the unpredictable weather that came with Storm Bert. Despite the rain and gusty winds, the warmth and love in the air ensured that the day was nothing short of magical.

Aimee and Matthew’s wedding theme was a beautiful mix of red and white, accented with gold touches, creating a sophisticated yet romantic atmosphere throughout the day. From the elegant décor to the carefully selected details, every element reflected their personalities and love for each other.

Although the weather might have kept everyone on their toes, it didn’t dampen the spirit of the day. The cosy venue, decorated with love and care, offered a warm escape from the storm outside.

The food was a standout feature of the day, with KK Catering providing a delicious and fun wedding breakfast. Guests were treated to the ultimate comfort food — fish and chips, served hot and fresh, followed by a hog roast and wedges from Castlemoor Farm during the evening festivities. But the true hero of the weekend was Maxine, the mother of the bride. Not only did she keep everyone well-fed, but her dedication and care throughout the entire weekend was extraordinary. The night before the wedding, she prepared huge lasagnes for everyone, ensuring no one went hungry. On the wedding morning, she organized a breakfast feast, and the day after, she worked tirelessly to create a stunning dessert table that left guests in awe. Maxine also made all of the canapés served after the ceremony, adding her personal touch to every part of the event. No one could possibly leave hungry when Maxine was around — she truly made the weekend unforgettable.

Aimee and Matthew thoughtfully organized their own playlists for the ceremony and afternoon celebrations, giving the day a personal touch. In the afternoon, the delightful sounds of a saxophonist filled the air while guests treated themselves to ice cream from Leo’s Ice Cream Van, offering a playful touch that perfectly matched the couple’s joyful spirit. Later in the evening, the dancefloor was buzzing thanks to the talented DJ from Jabs Events, who kept the party going all night long.

Bride Aimee and her team of helpers worked tirelessly to create a stunning setting for the ceremony and reception. The Cow House was transformed with a balloon arch, table decorations, and florals, all meticulously arranged by the bride herself. It was clear that Aimee's vision for her wedding day was brought to life through her hands-on approach and the help of her loved ones.

One of the most memorable touches was the memory table, where photos of loved ones who had passed were displayed, paying tribute to those unable to attend. Beside it stood a hand-painted wedding tree canvas, where each guest was invited to leave their fingerprint as a beautiful keepsake of the day. The unique and quirky pork scratchings table plan was another charming addition—each guest’s name was tied around a jar of pork scratchings, leading them to their designated table. It was a fun, personalized element that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

One of the most emotional moments of the day came when Paul, the father of the bride, saw his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time. His reaction was priceless, as his eyes filled with pride and love. During his speech, Paul spoke from the heart, describing how Stanford Farm was his daughter’s dream location and welcoming Macca (Matthew) into the family with warmth and affection. His words brought a tear to everyone’s eye as the couple’s love was evident to all in the room.

The entire day was filled with joy, love, and heartfelt moments, making Aimee and Matthew’s wedding one to remember for years to come.

Despite the stormy weather, this celebration was a shining example of how love, family, and good food can make any wedding day unforgettable. Aimee and Matthew’s special day at Stanford Farm was a true reflection of their love and commitment, surrounded by those they cherish most. And with Maxine’s culinary creations and the team’s careful attention to every detail, it’s safe to say that no one left without a smile on their face and a heart full of happiness.

Congratulations to Aimee and Matthew, your wedding was a beautiful way to end the season! ❤️

It’s been the best day ever; my dad had a Jägerbomb for the first time!
