Our first wedding of the year
We kicked off our 2025 wedding season in the most heart-warming way with Ashleigh and Dean’s beautiful wedding at Stanford Farm on the 12th of March. With a theme of classic simplicity, the couple infused subtle touches of blue and white throughout the day, setting a tone of understated elegance and heartfelt connection.
What made this wedding extra special was how personal and hands-on it felt from the start. The entire venue was lovingly decorated by Ashleigh and Dean’s family, adding a layer of warmth and intimacy that set the stage for a truly memorable day.
The ceremony was a touching celebrant-style blessing held in the farm’s rustic 19th-century stables — a unique and atmospheric setting. Leading the ceremony was none other than Ashleigh’s Uncle Keith, whose words brought both laughter and a few happy tears, making the moment feel deeply personal and cherished.
When it came to food, Ashleigh and Dean kept it fun and relaxed with delicious pizza, chips, and dips served up by KK Catering — a big hit with guests of all ages.
The soundtrack of the day was in good hands thanks to Soundverse Mobile Entertainment, who provided beautiful live vocals during the ceremony and carried the vibe seamlessly through the daytime. As evening fell, DJ Chris took over, turning the party up a notch and getting everyone on their feet.
There was no shortage of magical moments, but one that stood out was the father-daughter dance — an emotional highlight that had more than a few guests reaching for tissues.
We also couldn’t get enough of the adorable and unique wedding favours placed at each table: little bags of “His favourite sweets,” “Her favourite sweets,” and “Their favourite sweets.” A sweet and thoughtful touch that brought smiles all around.
Ashleigh and Dean’s day was the perfect blend of style, love, laughter, and personal touches — a truly unforgettable start to the year.
