Tori & Josh’s Wonderful Spring Wedding at Stanford Farm - 12th April 2025
A Ceremony Full of Family, Fun, and a Little Rock and Roll
On Saturday under a sky painted with brilliant blue and soft, pillowy clouds, Tori and Josh celebrated their love with a day that was as heartfelt and vibrant as their relationship. Their wedding at Stanford Farm was filled with music, laughter, family tradition, and personal touches that made the entire day unforgettable.
Both The Stables and the Cow House Barn were lovingly transformed into stunning wedding spaces by the couple and their families. Every detail reflected Tori and Josh’s shared creativity and commitment to making the day truly theirs.
Perhaps the most unique and emotional moment of the ceremony was the bride’s entrance. Tori walked down the aisle to a special re-recording of Queen’s “Wedding March” — but this version had a twist: her father played on the track, creating a powerful and deeply personal moment that left few dry eyes in the room.
The joy continued during the drinks reception with a live acoustic set from Helen Cordina, a close friend of the bride. Her voice and guitar playing added a relaxed and joyful vibe as guests mingled and toasted the newlyweds.
A surprise trumpet fanfare, performed by a guest, summoned everyone to the Wedding Breakfast — a regal and entertaining touch that had guests grinning as they made their way to the meal.
The wedding feast, catered by Jon and his talented team from Pro Roasts Events, began with beautiful charcuterie sharing boards that set a luxurious tone. This was followed by a hearty and delicious roast beef and hog roast dinner, complete with warm seasonal sides.
The dessert table, lovingly created by Tori and Josh themselves, was a sweet-lover’s dream: brownies, doughnut bites, macaroons, cookies, and shortbread, all artfully arranged around their three-tiered wedding cake made by the groom’s mum. Each layer — lemon, chocolate, and Victoria sponge — was as delightful as the next.
Adding a nod to Josh’s heritage, the couple also served a traditional Norwegian Kransekake — an elegant 18-layer almond wreath cake, which was ceremonially broken and shared among the guests.
Later in the evening, the couple took to the dance floor for a beautifully choreographed first dance, complete with dips, spins, and even a lift, much to the delight of the crowd. Their performance reflected not just their dance skills, but the effort, care, and joy they put into the day.
As the night wore on, guests gathered in the Bull Bar for a heart-warming sing-along, led by the bride’s father, Ian, on piano — yet another moment that brought everyone together in music and celebration.
DJT kept the party going into the late hours, with a lively set that had everyone dancing and laughing under the twinkling barn lights.
Among the many sweet and personal details was a hand-painted fingerprint tree, where guests could leave their mark and record their presence with a dab of ink, a charming and lasting keepsake for Tori and Josh to treasure.
Tori and Josh’s wedding was more than a celebration — it was a story told through music, food, tradition, and family. Every element, from the Queen - inspired aisle music to the almond rings of Kransekake, was a reflection of a couple who poured love and meaning into every corner of their day. A true springtime wedding to remember.
