Rhianne & Josh’s Fun-Filled Spring Wedding at Stanford Farm - 16th April 2025

A truly relaxed and joyful occasion

At Stanford Farm, nestled in the rolling countryside of Shropshire, Rhianne and Josh celebrated their wedding in true relaxed and joyful style at Stanford Farm — a day (and night!) full of laughter, love, family, and unforgettable moments.

The celebrations began early, with a cosy pre-wedding dinner for 18 close family members in the charming Farmhouse on the evening before the big day. It was the perfect way to kick off the festivities —intimate, heartfelt, and full of anticipation for what was to come.

Rhianne and Josh, with the help of their families, took care of all the decorations themselves, putting their hearts into every detail. The result was a day that felt authentic, personal, and full of character.

One especially magical moment happened before the ceremony, as a groomsman sat down to play the piano in the Bull Bar, filling the space with soft melodies that added a calm and emotional atmosphere.

The laughs soon followed thanks to a brilliant surprise from the Best Man, who had reached out to the couple’s old school teacher. Not only did the teacher send well wishes via video, but he also cheekily shared stories about “naughty and nice” pupils — many of whom were now guests at the wedding!!! It had everyone in stitches and was a perfect nod to the couple’s shared past.

Keeping the vibe relaxed and fun, Fish Heads rolled up in their truck on the Oval green, serving up crispy fish and chips that were a massive hit with guests.

Auntie Trish added her own touch of sweetness with a homemade wedding cake, setting the tone for more delicious surprises to come.

After dinner, the newlyweds hosted a pub-style quiz, bringing out everyone’s competitive spirit. Questions ranged from “Where was their first date?” to “What are their favourite two films to watch together?” and “Where are they going on honeymoon?”. It was a heartfelt and hilarious way to bring guests into their story.

Later in the evening, Rhianne and Josh treated guests to a buffet they curated themselves. The table featured cold snacks, breads, and delicious Indian treats — including samosas and bhajis from their favourite Wolverhampton restaurant — served alongside more of Auntie Trish’s cakes, of course.

The celebrations continued into the night with live music from The Lost Keys, who performed two energetic sets and even took on DJ duties in between. Their performance had everyone dancing, singing along, and making memories that won’t be forgotten.

From heartfelt speeches to samosas and school stories, Rhianne and Josh’s wedding was an effortlessly fun, family-filled celebration that truly reflected who they are as a couple. Every detail was filled with love, humour, and a shared sense of joy that made the day as special for their guests as it was for them.
