Jemma and Lee’s American-Inspired Wedding at Stanford Farm
A little bit of Nashville comes to Shropshire for a country-themed wedding celebration
Jemma and Lee celebrated their wedding at Stanford Farm in Shropshire on 4th July 2026, bringing plenty of Nashville spirit to the countryside for a wonderfully relaxed, American-themed celebration.
The couple are huge country music fans, so cowboy hats, boots and a touch of Tennessee style were very much the order of the day. There was also a secret behind their celebration – Jemma and Lee had actually eloped to Nashville on 3rd June to get married!
While some of their friends and family were in on the secret, others arrived at Stanford Farm believing they were attending the couple’s wedding. The ceremony in The Stables was therefore a vow renewal, giving Jemma and Lee the opportunity to celebrate their marriage all over again surrounded by the people closest to them.
After the ceremony, the Nashville theme continued with a very special photo opportunity. Jemma and Lee had brought liquor back from their trip and invited their guests to join them for a celebratory shot – certainly a memorable way to toast the newlyweds! Following on the “western” theme, there was even a rodeo bull that was entertaining for everyone.
Music played a big part in the day too. Jemma’s brother, a member of Radio Rumours, performed on our outdoor stage during the afternoon, providing the perfect soundtrack as everyone relaxed and enjoyed the celebrations.
In true American style, personal chefs provided a stunning BBQ feast for Jemma, Lee and their guests.
As evening arrived, the party moved inside to The Cowhouse, where live band Radio Rumours took to the stage and got everyone dancing. DJ George from DJT then kept the celebrations going into the night.
Guests were also treated to a cold buffet from the couple’s chefs, providing some much-needed fuel for the dance floor!
From cowboy boots and country music to a Nashville elopement and celebratory shots, Jemma and Lee created a wedding celebration that was completely personal to them. A little slice of Nashville in the heart of Shropshire – and a fantastic 4th of July celebration at Stanford Farm.
