Claire and Mark’s Sunny Lakeside Wedding at Stanford Farm

A relaxed Shropshire celebration with live music, street food and plenty of personal touches.

Claire and Mark celebrated their wedding at Stanford Farm in Shropshire on a beautifully sunny and warm day, surrounded by family and friends.

The couple chose our Lakeside Pavilion for their legal ceremony, with Claire being proudly given away by her father. George from DJT provided the ceremony music, creating the perfect soundtrack to their lakeside vows.

The celebrations had actually begun the evening before, when the family gathered on site for a relaxed BBQ – a lovely way to make the most of their time together before the big day.

Following the ceremony, James Baker performed live during the afternoon while guests enjoyed street food from Grazing Brew Box, who served pizzas and loaded fries. A couple of hours later, King Cones arrived with ice creams – particularly welcome on such a warm day!

The live entertainment continued into the evening, with The Yungens playing outside from 6pm until 8pm. After cutting their wedding cake just before the first dance, Claire and Mark moved the celebrations inside for an evening with a wonderfully personal feel.

Rather than having a traditional DJ for the whole evening, family members took turns behind the decks, with Mark himself even taking over for an hour! Guests could also help themselves to a self-catering evening buffet before dancing the night away.

A wonderfully relaxed wedding filled with sunshine, great food, live music and personal touches – exactly the kind of celebration that makes Stanford Farm weddings so special.
