Billie-Mae and Mariana’s Wedding at Stanford Farm April 2nd 2025

A Joyful Fusion of Love:

On the bright, sun-kissed afternoon of April 2nd, 2025, Billie-Mae and Mariana celebrated their wedding in the heart of the Shropshire countryside at the charming Stanford Farm. A day as vibrant as their love, the celebration beautifully wove together Brazilian flair and British charm, with a burnt orange palette setting the tone for a stylish, joyful gathering of family, friends, and four-legged companions.

The weather played its part in full springtime glory – golden sunshine and blue skies with a crisp breeze arriving just in time to keep guests cuddling up as the evening drew in. It was the perfect backdrop for a day filled with laughter, song, and heart-warming moments.

The ceremony itself was intimate and deeply personal. Billie’s aunt led a heartfelt blessing, setting the tone for a day rich with connection and sentiment. Music was central to the day – Pete Murray, a close friend of the brides, serenaded the crowd with acoustic sets, later joined by another young musical talent: a friend’s teenage son whose energetic drumming brought extra rhythm to the afternoon. As the stars came out, the dancefloor lit up with the couple’s own curated playlist, keeping spirits high long into the night.

Guests were treated to hearty British comfort food during the day – a warming pie, mash and gravy feast from the brilliant Pie-oneers. As the evening rolled in, Morello Events and Catering laid out a delicious buffet, complemented by homemade dishes lovingly contributed by guests. The sweetest touch came in the form of the wedding cake, crafted with care by Billie’s mum – her very first attempt! A delightful two-tier combination of chocolate and red velvet, it was not only a showstopper but a special labour of love.

Among the many standout moments, the singing truly stole the show. From the hymns during the ceremony to the hilariously heartfelt reworking of Guantanamera during the speeches – rewritten by Billie’s aunt and performed with maracas and Jenna blocks in hand – guests were constantly reminded that this was no ordinary wedding. It was a celebration alive with personality.

And who could forget the afternoon bingo? A quirky, laughter-filled session with cheeky call-outs like “Officer I can’t walk in a straight line, number 59” and “Apparently Batman is called Clive, number 75.”

Rounding off the day with a heart-melting touch, the couple’s beloved dog, Doug, and their cat, Goose, were right there by their side, tails wagging and whiskers twitching as they soaked up the love and attention from doting guests.

Billie-Mae and Mariana’s wedding was more than just a day – it was an expression of joy, identity, and shared adventure. A perfect spring celebration full of warmth, music, delicious food, and unforgettable moments. Here's to many more memories just as beautiful.

I’ve never seen Billie so content as I have since you came into her life Mariana.
