Vicky and Mick’s Military Summer Wedding at Stanford Farm
A sunny lakeside celebration with military tradition, live music and relaxed outdoor fun
Vicky and Mick celebrated their wedding at Stanford Farm in Shropshire on Saturday 25th July, with warm sunshine providing the perfect backdrop for their day.
Their legal ceremony was held at the Lakeside, where guests were treated to the impressive sight of a full military guard of honour. Mick looked particularly smart in his British Army ceremonial uniform, making their lakeside ceremony feel especially memorable.
The celebrations had begun the evening before, when immediate family arrived at Stanford Farm and enjoyed a relaxed family meal together on site.
On the wedding day, Hobo Chic provided acoustic music in the Courtyard as guests arrived, and continued playing after the ceremony while drinks and canapés were served. Guests could also enjoy lawn games on the Oval Green, supplied by Dandy Candy Events, making the most of the warm summer weather.
Food was provided by Big 5 Catering, who served a BBQ on platters during the afternoon before returning later with hot dogs for the evening celebrations.
As the day moved into evening, Hobo Chic provided the entertainment, keeping the party going until carriages at 1am.
