Emma and Steve’s Summer Wedding at Stanford Farm
A sunny summer celebration with a singing surprise, great food and plenty of dancing
Emma and Steve celebrated their wedding at Stanford Farm in Shropshire on Wednesday 22nd July 2026, beginning with a relaxed evening together the day before. Immediate family arrived early to stay on site and enjoyed a takeaway together – a lovely way to settle in before the celebrations began.
The following day, Emma and Steve married in The Stables, with their 1pm ceremony conducted by celebrant Lorraine Jaeger. With warm sunshine throughout the day, it was perfect weather for guests to enjoy the outdoor spaces at Stanford Farm.
Afterwards, everyone gathered in the Courtyard for canapés from Pro Roast, followed by a delicious carvery at 3pm. Then came a surprise Emma certainly wasn't expecting! Jess Stretton “the Singing Waitress” appeared to take a tumble with a full drinks tray before suddenly bursting into song, much to the surprise and delight of Emma and her guests.
The couple cut their wedding cake at 6.30pm before taking to the dance floor for their first dance at 7.30pm. DJ George from DJT provided the evening entertainment, while Pro Roast returned with pork baps to keep everyone fuelled for a night of celebrations.
The festivities continued the following morning, with Pro Roast back on site to serve breakfast – the perfect way for everyone to get together once more after a wonderful wedding day.
A sunny, fun-filled Stanford Farm wedding with great food, a memorable surprise and plenty of reasons to celebrate!
